Clear information on how commercial affiliate partnerships support this site.
Commission Structure & Reader Costs
Micron & Escapement participates in affiliate programs, including merchant partner networks associated with AliExpress and watch tool vendors. When you navigate to a retailer through outbound product links and make a purchase, this publication may earn a small referral commission.
This commission comes at zero additional cost to you. The retail price, discount coupons, and shipping fees set by the seller remain identical whether you use an affiliate link or navigate directly.
Separation of Editorial Judgment
Our technical hazard ratings, dimension catalogs, and tool mold comparisons are generated independently of referral payouts. Potential commissions do not alter our reporting on soft driver alloys, misaligned press spindles, or inaccurate seller labeling.
No Free Goods or Paid Endorsements
We do not accept paid manufacturer placements or promotional merchandise in exchange for favorable specification descriptions. All evaluations reflect cataloged dimensions and risk analyses.
